As part of the University of South Florida Libraries, the Nelson Poynter Memorial Library on the St. Petersburg campus is dedicated to accelerating learning and fostering knowledge production through our distinctive collections, innovative information services and thought leadership.

An esteemed AAU member institution, our libraries are committed to enhancing student success, supporting faculty excellence and promoting lifelong learning within our vibrant community.

Operating across our three diverse campuses in Tampa, St. Petersburg and Sarasota-Manatee, the USF Libraries provide access to over 2.6 million print and eBooks, 73,000 e-journal subscriptions and 30.8 million digital images.

We offer specialized research assistance and instructional support tailored to the needs of both students and faculty. Our collections feature unique primary research materials in key areas such as Florida studies, Florida environment and natural history, children’s and young adult literature and university archives.
