USF Celebrates Pride

Students and staff came out in large numbers to represent the University of South Florida at the St. Petersburg Pride Parade. The largest Pride festival in the state of Florida, the yearly event brought together around 300,000 people to celebrate the LGBTQIA+ community.

Final state budget provides transformational new funding for USF

This year’s budget represents the largest operational budget increase in USF history, building on last year’s record-breaking legislative session. Several high-priority projects - including the planning and construction of the Environmental and Oceanographic Sciences Research and Teaching facility on the St. Petersburg campus - will move forward.
