At the age of two, Barbara Figueredo moved to the U.S. from Venezuela after her family left the country due to the political turmoil that continues today. Coming to America and learning English at a young age made her want to pursue an Education degree.

USF to confer more than 4,400 degrees during fall commencement
The University of South Florida will award more than 4,400 degrees during fall commencement. The group features 43 undergraduate students earning a perfect 4.0 GPA and 136 student veterans, and includes graduates from 37 states, 88 nations and four U.S. territories.
