The Tavern at 40, as told by its owners

Thousands of USF students move on campus as residence halls fill to capacity
Residence halls at the University of South Florida are expected to be at full capacity for the fall semester. A total of 7,400 students are expected to live on campus - nearly 6,500 in Tampa and more than 900 in St. Petersburg.

USF to confer more than 2,400 degrees during summer commencement ceremonies on Aug. 5
Graduates include 19 students earning a perfect 4.0 GPA and 85 student veterans, and includes graduates from 36 states and 71 nations. This marks the first group of students to graduate since USF joined the prestigious Association of American Universities (AAU).

While striving for his bachelor’s degree, war broke out in Andrii Kostyrko's home country of Ukraine. For nearly a year and a half, Kostyrko lived with the uncertainty and fear created by the war. Despite these circumstances, he has excelled and will be graduating summa cum laude.
