Planning on retiring? Plan to join the Retired Faculty and Staff Association, too! We always welcome new friends.
A member is any person who is duly recognized by the University of South Florida and the State of Florida as retired from the USF St. Petersburg campus. Spouses of retirees are eligible to join as well.
You may show your support by making a gift to the USF St. Petersburg campus Retired Faculty & Staff Association.
SCHOLARSHIP DETAILS
The RFSA endowed scholarship has helped several deserving students at the USF St. Petersburg campus. This fund supports scholarships for full-time junior or senior level students enrolled at the USF St. Petersburg campus. This scholarship is based on merit, the recipient must hold a minimum 3.2 GPA and has a preference for a first generation in college student. Recipients will be rotated between the College of Business, Education and another college at USF St. Petersburg, with each unit receiving an award within each three-year period. Students who apply must provide an essay describing a challenging personal or social obstacle that they have overcome in pursuit of their educational goals.
SUPPORT THE RFSA ENDOWED SCHOLARSHIP
Although this is an endowed scholarship, we want to continue developing funds to increase the amount we are able to provide the scholarship recipient. We are seeking donors who would be designated as “Sustaining Members” through a pledge of $100 annually for five years. Please consider becoming a sustaining member of the scholarship fund.
