Personal Financial Planning

Undergraduate Major

Financial planning is the long-term process of wisely managing assets to help achieve business and personal goals, while at the same time negotiating the financial barriers that inevitably arise in every stage of life. The Bureau of Labor Statistics projects growth of nearly 30 percent for personal finance planning in the coming years, outpacing most occupations. While growth in this field is taking place, large industry gaps are being created by retiring planners and advisors. Thus there is a large need for new graduates in this profession.
