Women, Infants, and Children

Another program that Relative/Non Relative Caregivers may apply for is WIC (Women, Infant and Children) it is a separate program from the Food Assistance Program. WIC provides healthy foods, nutrition education and counseling along with referrals to health care, immunizations and community services at no cost, if the child is eligible for the program. To apply you will need to make contact with the local WIC offices. Pinellas phone numbers are: 727-824-6913 or 727-824-6914. Pasco phone numbers are: 813-558-5173 or 1-877-942-2329. You can contact the WIC office directly to obtain an appointment and you be provided with a list of items to bring with you to your appointment for eligibility to be determined.
