Summer graduate wins Fulbright award to teach in Moldova

Taylor Herman wasn't sure what she wanted to do for a career until coming to USF St. Pete in 2021. During her four years on campus, she met other students, faculty and staff who inspired her to pursue studies in government and international relations. Her hard work led to a prestigious Fulbright English Teaching Assistant scholarship in Moldova.

Outstanding Young Alumni recipient puts his political science degree to work at U.S. Space Force

Kyle McIntyre credits the guidance and support he received at USF St. Petersburg for his success at a young age. As one of six recipients of USF’s Outstanding Young Alumni Award, he is amazed at how far he has come since graduating with a political science degree in 2015. McIntyre, 35, is the deputy director of congressional affairs at Headquarters U.S. Space Force.
