The University of South Florida St. Petersburg offers one of the nation’s most outstanding online MBA programs, according to The Princeton Review. The prestigious education services company includes the university in its list, Top 25 Online MBA Programs for 2020.

USF St. Petersburg earned the 24th spot on the list, out of more than 110 programs that were reviewed across the nation. It is the highest ranking the program has achieved. This is The Princeton Review’s 5th annual ranking of online MBA Programs.

“This is a tremendous recognition of the steady progress we have made with our flagship program, creating an online educational experience at a price point that provides such tremendous value and flexibility for our students,” said Sri Sundaram, Dean of the Kate Tiedemann College of Business (KTCOB).

The Princeton Review selected the 25 online MBA programs and tallied its ranking list based on data from the company’s 2018–2019 surveys of administrators at more than 110 business schools offering online MBAs.

The company also factored in data from its 2018–2019 surveys of more than 6,000 students enrolled in the online MBA programs. More than 60 data points were weighted to determine the list and rankings. The criteria focused on five core areas: academics, selectivity, faculty, technical platforms, and career outcomes.

The accredited Master of Business Administration Program at USF St. Petersburg’s Kate Tiedemann College of Business is designed for working professionals, with an emphasis on analytic and leadership skills that prepare graduates for an ever-changing business environment. The online program allows students the flexibility to choose the track and time-frame that is most beneficial and valuable in pursuit of their master’s degree. Taking the online program, students receive the same access to all of KTCOB’s resources and faculty.

“We will continue to innovate with our online MBA program, including adding a health care focus and more immersive short-term courses, as well as strengthening engagement and, as always, utilizing our great faculty in delivering this high demand degree,” said Sundaram.

Recent MBA graduates from USF St. Petersburg are employed at international companies as well as landing at Florida’s top corporations, including Raymond James, Franklin Templeton, Wells Fargo, Nielsen and Jabil. The average base salary for recent USF St. Petersburg’s MBA graduates is $72,500.

“We strongly recommend USF St. Petersburg as an outstanding choice for anyone aspiring to earn an MBA via an online program,” said Rob Franek, editor-in-chief of The Princeton Review. Franek added, “USF St. Petersburg’s program is exceptionally strong academically, and it maximizes technology that enables students to interact with and learn from faculty and students all over the world.”
