FACULTY COURSE DEVELOPMENT GRANT

The purpose of the CCE Faculty Course Development grant program is to encourage the integration of civic engagement activities into the curriculum. The Center expects that the grants will:

• Increase the number of courses with civic engagement components
• Support course assessment in terms of its community and student impact
• Increase student enrollment in courses with civic engagement components.

These grants will provide resources to assist faculty members in developing and sustaining experiential learning opportunities for students. Faculty Course Development Grants may be funded to a maximum of $1,000.00 for travel, supplies, student assistants and other expenses.  The grant is available to all full-time faculty members to support the development of a new course or the addition of a civic engagement component to an existing course.
