SGEF Meetings and Events

SGEF MEETINGS

The USF St. Petersburg campus Student Green Energy Fund Committee meets every other Tuesday from 4:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. in SLC 2100. 

These are regular meetings that involves everyone who shares or is interested in sustainability projects on campus. The main goal of the meetings is to discuss sustainability issues, approve or reject project proposals, organize events and more.

The meetings are a great way to be part of the conversation and learn how to propose your own sustainability project.

Under Florida Law, meetings are open to the public and the public is invited to attend.

Meeting agenda's give students, faculty and the public an opportunity to see the projects and other items the USF Student Green Energy Fund Committee will discuss at its next meeting while the minutes give an overview of actions taken during the previous meeting.

Activities and events designed to celebrate successful projects and attract new members are held throughout the academic year.

EcoFest

An annual event held by the Student Green Energy on or near Earth Day that highlights environmental organizations within the community and within USF St. Petersburg that strives towards emissions reduction, conservation, restoration, and sustainability.
